Da Nang to Celebrate 50th Liberation Anniversary with Stunning Fireworks Show
The central city of Da Nang will host a stunning fireworks on March 29 to mark Its 50th Liberation Anniversary.
The city’s people’s committee announced that the fireworks display will begin at 10 p.m. on March 29 and last for 25 minutes. The event will be held at Asia Park, which is located along the scenic Han River in Hai Chau District.
The fireworks will be a colorful celebration of Da Nang’s 50th liberation anniversary, and the event is expected to attract both locals and visitors, making it a special night for the city.
The fireworks show will feature a combination of high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks, providing a breathtaking view for all. Visitors can enjoy the display from various popular spots, such as Bach Dang Pedestrian Street, 29/3 Square, or even several bridges along the Han River. The firework show is set to be a highlight of Da Nang’s 50th liberation anniversary.
In addition to the fireworks, several other events will take place to celebrate the 50th anniversary. These include an exhibition called Da Nang – 50 Years of Development and Integration, a lively parade along Bach Dang Street and nearby areas, and an exciting boat race on the Han River.
To make the celebration even more special, the city has decided to keep the floral displays along Bach Dang Street open until May. The colorful flowers will stay in place, creating a beautiful and festive atmosphere for everyone to enjoy during the anniversary events and beyond.
Additionally, ten teams will take part in the 2025 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival, which will be held from May 31 to July 12. This exciting event will showcase impressive fireworks displays from teams around the world, adding to the city’s celebration and attracting many visitors during the summer months.
The central coastal city is expecting to attract 11.90 million visitors in 2025, with 4.8 million of them being international tourists. This is a 10 percent increase in total visitors and a 17 percent rise in foreign tourists compared to last year. To support this growth, the city is investing in better infrastructure, including new hotels, transport options, and improved services to make the visit more enjoyable for everyone.
